Holy Water

A Renaissance in Fashion

Spring 2025

Inspired by the elegant silhouettes and contrasting organic details of the 2024 Schiaparelli Spring Collection, Holy Water is a conceptual runway design inspired by the brand's Italian roots, and its pivotal role in fashion.

Inspired by the ornate drama of Italian cathedrals and palatial interiors with reflective pools, this space evokes sacred opulence. Gilded altars are reimagined as sculptural fountains, their slow trickles echoing through the hush of anticipation. The floor, flooded with a shallow plane of water, turns each model's step into a ripple, a consecrated disturbance.
Water becomes both mirror and veil, suggesting baptism, transformation, and the mysticism of reflection. As Schiaparelli blurs the line between art and fashion, so too does this scene blur architecture and atmosphere. The entire space breathes with the symbolism of devotion: arches, halos, iconography, all reinterpreted through a modern, theatrical lens.

Holy Water is a secular sanctum: not a place of prayer, but a place of awe. It holds the surrealist legacy of Schiaparelli in one hand and the weight of spiritual aesthetics in the other. Here, fashion is liturgy. Fabric is relic. And the runway is a ritual in motion.
